Audio Recording Tips
1. Ensure your digital recorder is set to the highest quality setting. For example, on an Olympus recorder, use standard play (SP) or high quality (HQ) mode.
2. Avoid re-recording audio as it will compromise sound quality.
3. Ensure recorders are equidistant from participants and not too close to yourself.
4. Use recorders with external microphones when conducting a focus group
5. If requiring voice identification in a focus group, please contact us prior to recording to discuss options.
6. Avoid rooms that echo and background noise from airconditioners or people.
